As we navigate our lives, we admit we can only successfully do so with the guidance and direction of God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We see that from the East to the West, from the North to the South, the poor to the rich, the weak to the strong, the young to the old, every tribe, and every nation, we are all lost and hurting people; people in need and searching for something. This something is Jesus Christ, and what Jesus Christ offers is redeeming grace and mercy, love, peace, hope, joy…
Please give Him your praise at this moment.
Father God,
Today we acknowledge again that You are the King above all Kings, the Alpha and Omega, the Lord of Heaven and Earth; we admit, there is no one above You.
We give thanks today that You want only the best for each of us; You are not willing to let us go without a fight for each of us. We read in:
Matt 18:12 (NIV) “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way, your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.”
We praise Jesus today that through His finished work at the cross, we are offered redemption (new life) and guaranteed to be with Him for eternity.
Yes, for many, Jesus has already sought, found, and rescued us. For some, He may be seeking you today. He makes it simple, all that is required for this new life, eternal life, is to believe in the name of Jesus and declare Him to be King over your life.
You can be certain that if you choose Christ, Heaven will rejoice for you today. For we read in:
Luke 15:7 (NIV) “I tell you that in the same way, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.”
As we continue to navigate our lives, we are thankful for the gifts from the Holy Spirit. We are blessed daily by His provisions, promptings, guidance, and corrections.
Today, we are thankful for answered and unanswered prayers, For we trust that what we read is true:
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Today, in this quiet moment, for all that You’ve done, we worship, exalt, and give You all glory, honour, and praise.
