Revival

Please add this worship song to your online church sermon, morning devotion, or evening quiet time.
Today’s song is “Revival” by Zach Williams

“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.”
Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV)

“God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will.”
Hebrews 2:4 (NIV)

Let’s open in Prayer:
Father God, we are ready for the fire and power of Your Holy Spirit on this Pentecost 2026. Prepare us for an upper room experience that will fill and refill us with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Breathe fresh breath into our spirits as only You can, so that God may be lifted high above the Earth.
In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen

For today’s featured video, I have paired two “Revival”-themed videos: the first, Zach Williams’ worship song “Revival,” and the second, an interview featuring Mark Francey, pastor of Oceans Church in California, with “Baptize the World,” an effort by Global Baptism (Pentecost 2026, a Worldwide Event).

We serve a God of the harvest, of restoration, of miraculous power, and of unconditional love. Our God breaks through impossible situations. He is a Healer who mends broken bodies and souls. He is a Victorious King who has overcome death for each of us. Our God is now moving across the earth in ways that should make our hearts overflow with praise. For anyone who has looked at today’s culture and felt brokenness, a loss of hope, or fear for the future, look again. God is not silent. A global harvest of the nations is underway, and at the front lines is a powerful harvest of youth. Scripture reminds us that we do not have to wait for some distant day to see God move. Jesus tells us,
“Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”
John 4:35 (NIV)

Think of what God is doing at this very moment. From the underground church in Iran to the resilient believers in China; from the historic soil of Germany and the United Kingdom to the vast landscapes of North and South America, Africa, and Russia, revival fires are breaking out across the globe. The list goes on. God has not just moved in history; He is moving right now. The greatness He has in store for us at this time remains to be seen. We are witnessing His preparation of a young, bold, and courageous generation, ready to stand for the Gospel, answering the ancient call,
“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field.”
Matthew 9:37-38 (NIV)

To grasp the potential of this global movement, we must understand how revival affects each of us personally. Zach Williams’ song “Revival” captures this supernatural shift from weakness to strength in Christ. When you are lifeless, tired, burned out, and defeated, Christ’s perfect love does not abandon you. It finds you, calls your name, and makes all things new. You may feel spiritually dead, but you can find revival in Him as He breathes new life into you. The broken heart begins to beat with the life of Christ. Fear, doubt, and disappointment do not have the final say; they are swallowed up in the victory of new life. To experience revival is to come alive in Christ, to take His strength, and to hold fast to the Holy Spirit for a brand-new journey.

As could only be, birthed in the throne room of God, this personal transformation is evolving into a corporate awakening, championed by leaders such as Pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church in California. He is the visionary behind an extraordinary timeline of public faith that has shocked communities and made national headlines.

May 2023 (Baptize SoCal): The movement ignited with 4,166 baptisms at Pirate’s Cove. This was deeply significant, as it occurred at the exact historic site of the 1960s–1970s Jesus People Movement, depicted in the acclaimed film Jesus Revolution by Greg Laurie.

May 2024 (Baptize California): The fire spread into a statewide event, drawing 30,000 attendees and uniting more than 300 churches. On a single day, 12,216 people were baptized, including 6,015 in Huntington Beach alone.

May and June 2025 (Baptize California and Baptize America): The movement crossed state borders. It recorded 7,752 baptisms in a single day at Huntington Beach and exploded into a nationwide phenomenon, with 27,858 baptisms by June. This event set a United States record, with support from over 500 churches.

All of these events are building momentum toward a historic climax to be celebrated on Pentecost Sunday, 2026. “Baptize the World” is just 6 days away. What began on a single California beach has grown into Baptize the World, a global effort to rally people across every continent to profess their faith in Jesus publicly. Over 1,600 cross-denominational host churches across dozens of nations, including synchronized national events such as Baptize Canada, are expected to hold public water immersions simultaneously.

Just as the Holy Spirit fell on the early church in Acts, we are believing for a global outpouring. This fulfills the prophecy Peter proclaimed on the very first Pentecost:
“And afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”
Joel 2:28 (NIV)

The brokenness of the world will not win. The loss of hope is being replaced by a bold, courageous generation rising to declare, “I am alive in Christ.” Let us give God all the praise for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He is about to do!

This is bigger than a moment; it is a movement. On Pentecost Sunday, churches worldwide will unite to fulfil the Great Commission through synchronized water baptism. You are invited to be part of this historic day.

Ultimately, personal revival is where the global harvest begins. As Zach Williams’ song reminds us of the quiet, life-giving power of Christ transforming an individual heart, “Baptize the World” shows us the collective impact of those transformed hearts uniting for a global awakening. From the internal spark of personal renewal to the massive, worldwide gathering of Pentecost 2026, God is weaving our individual stories into a grand tapestry of global redemption. When we allow Him to revive us, we become the very workers equipped to step into the harvest fields and change the world.

Let’s Pray
Father God, we lift the “Baptize the World” movement to You. We ask that Pentecost mark the start of a supernatural season of unprecedented harvest for Your Kingdom. May millions upon millions of souls worldwide encounter Your love and declare You their personal Saviour.

Lord, we know You are great and that Your timing is perfect. You have prepared Pastor Mark Francey, Oceans Church, and thousands of pastors, leaders, and volunteers for this precise moment in history. You set this in motion before the world’s foundation. We stand in awe and expectancy, waiting to see how You will display Your glory and greatness on earth.

We pray for a fresh, supernatural anointing on every participant. Send revival, Lord, as You did on that first Pentecost two thousand years ago. Let this event ignite a holy fire that spreads from nation to nation, sparking revivals too vast for us to count. Yet we know You count everyone. You know every name, and You are calling Your children home to experience Your grace, mercy, and unconditional love.

Father, the world often tells us the younger generation is not interested in You. We ask You to prove them wrong. Prove to the world that You are needed now more than ever! Stir a global excitement for Your name, power, goodness, and strength. We now watch with joyful anticipation for the supernatural healings, signs, wonders, and miracles that will break out across the earth.

We ask all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

In Christ,
Lou-Anne

Lyric Highlights

You called my name, you made all things new
Oh, I was dead, but look at me now,
I’ve found revival in you
It’s all because of You, all because of You!

May we grow together in the love of Christ to reflect upon the mercies and blessings upon our lives, to feel the presence of God’s living Holy Spirit through worship to sing, pray, laugh, dance, cry, but mostly to praise our Lord and Father as we were indeed created2praise.
